By creating an account or using Lumie Affirmations you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree please do not use the app. These terms form a binding legal agreement between you and Lumie Affirmations.
You must be at least 13 years old to use Lumie Affirmations. By creating an account you confirm you meet this requirement.

You may not share your account with others or create accounts on behalf of others without their explicit consent.
The free plan includes:
Recording credits are a one-time allocation and do not reset monthly. Discarding a recording before confirming does not use a credit. Once your 30 credits are used you must upgrade to continue recording.
Pro — $4.99 per month: A recurring monthly subscription. Includes unlimited recordings, AI voice enhancement, background music during playback, and priority support. Billed monthly on the date you subscribed. You may cancel at any time and your access continues until the end of the current billing period.
Lifetime — $199 one-time payment: A single non-recurring charge that grants permanent access to all current Pro features and all future features added to the app with no additional charges ever. This is a one-time purchase.
All payments are processed securely by Stripe. Prices are listed in US dollars and exclude any applicable taxes. We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days notice to existing subscribers.
Pro subscription: You may request a full refund within 7 days of your first payment if you have not used the AI voice enhancement feature. After 7 days no refunds are issued but you may cancel at any time to stop future charges.
Lifetime access: You may request a full refund within 14 days of purchase provided you have not used the AI voice enhancement feature more than once. After 14 days the Lifetime purchase is non-refundable.
To cancel your Pro subscription go to Settings in the app or email hello@lumieaffirmations.com. To request a refund email us with your account email and the reason for your request.
You own everything you create in Lumie Affirmations. Your affirmations, journal notes, and voice recordings are yours. We claim no ownership over your content.
By using the app you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to store, process, and transmit your content solely as necessary to provide the service to you. This license ends when you delete the content or your account.
You agree not to create content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, defamatory, or that violates the rights of any other person.
The AI voice enhancement feature is available to Pro and Lifetime subscribers only. By setting up an AI voice profile in Settings you explicitly consent to your voice sample being transmitted to and processed by ElevenLabs to create a personal voice model.

Violation of these terms may result in immediate termination of your account.
We work hard to keep Lumie Affirmations running smoothly but we cannot guarantee 100% uptime. We may occasionally perform maintenance or updates that temporarily affect availability. We will provide advance notice for planned downtime whenever possible.
We are not liable for any loss or inconvenience caused by temporary unavailability of the service.
You may delete your account at any time in Settings. Upon deletion:
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. In cases of serious or repeated violations we may do so without notice. We will provide notice where legally required to do so.
Lumie Affirmations is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law we disclaim all warranties including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.
We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the app, including loss of data, loss of profits, or service interruptions.
Our total liability to you for any claims arising from your use of the app will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or (b) $50.
Some jurisdictions do not allow exclusion of certain warranties or limitations of liability. In such jurisdictions our liability is limited to the greatest extent permitted by law.
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of the app will first be attempted to be resolved informally by contacting us at hello@lumieaffirmations.com. We will make good-faith efforts to resolve disputes within 30 days.
If informal resolution fails, disputes will be resolved through binding individual arbitration rather than in courts. You waive any right to participate in a class action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration.
Residents of the European Union have the right to bring disputes before their local courts and consumer protection authorities regardless of the above.
We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by email and with a notice in the app at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Your continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
If you do not agree to the updated terms you may delete your account before the effective date.
